BRIEF HISTORY

Friends International Christian Academy started out as a small homeschool and later grew into an international educational institution.

The way the ACE curriculum develops the individuality of students made the founders want to share this experience with other parents.

Students study in a self-paced manner since the ACE curriculum is based on mastery-based learning. In the regular Ugandan education system, many of the "slower students" are left behind. But here, they are seen, nurtured, and given the proper tools to excel.

FICA is built on the foundation of Biblical principles, and Christ-like character traits.

OUR APPROACH

We prioritize holistic training.

Academics: Students develop mathematical thinking, linguistic diversity, technological literacy and academic competence.

Spiritual Development: Students have daily devotions, opportunities to minister and are given mentorship to develop a love for Christ and Biblical knowledge.

Character Development: We believe that talent alone is not enough. We organize school programs that help students develop strong character.
